DIY Skate Wax: Part 2

20120116-220557.jpg

Rummaging through my closet, I stumbled upon yet another old candle without a wick. This one happened to be a soy candle, so I have a feeling it’s optimal for longer steady grinds, and probably friendly on the ol’ environment. To the streets!!

Quick and Easy Recipe:

-Old Candle chopped into tiny pieces
-Vegetable Oil, Olive Oil, and/or Dish soap (Be Creative)
-Add both candle bits and oils into a tin can
-Add water to a pot, boil water, place tin with contents into the pot until melted
-Pour melted contents into an old plastic container or cake/jello mold
-Place in freezer for 20 minutes
-Pop hardened wax from container
-Enjoy!
