1. What’s your name and where are you from?

Robert Pawlikowski of Tarpon Springs, Florida

2.  What is Heavy Loungin for those out there who might not already know?

Heavy Loungin’ is the name of our full length video as well as a name we put on stickers, t-shirts, and such. A friend of mine came up with the name after observing the odd ways people sit, lay, and lounge while in the streets

3. How long did it take you to create the full length Heavy Loungin video?

We started filming about three years ago but most of the footage is from the last year or so. So there are some oldies spread throughout the video.

4. You also shoot lots of photos and always are carrying around different cameras, what started your interest in using film and old cameras in this digital age?

I saw photographs that had been taken with film cameras and I thought that they looked a lot more interesting and unique compared to the pictures I had taken with my digital camera so I went out and bought some film and a 35mm camera that day. After that I just got hooked on hunting around for cameras and film to see how the pictures turn out. It’s a lot of fun!

5. You create t-shirts as well from time to time, how would someone go about getting one of those if they were interested?

Shirt orders are pretty unofficial. Just send me a message online and we can figure it out from there!

6. Any final words, comments, shout-outs?

Shout out to Soft Hoagie Rolls, Manifest Afro, Magenta Skateboards, and of course The Sleeping Horse for always putting out videos that inspire me to go skateboard. Also to the Find Rangers and the Future Machine for always posting interesting photos. And thank you for this interview!
